Notes:The Wdr12 probe used in this study by Nal et al., 2002 [PMID:11827460] was "prepared by in vitro transcription using the linearized Wdr12 cDNA (cloned into the pGEMt-easy vector; Promega, Madison, WI) in the presence of digoxygenin (DIG)-coupled UTP as described by the manufacturer (Boehringer Mannheim, Meylan, France). Production of complementary antisense and sense probes used ApaI-linearized cDNA and SP6 RNA polymerase, and NdeI-linearized cDNA and T7 RNA polymerase, respectively". Editors Note: see Fig 1 therein and AY059431.1 for the sequence of the Wdr12 cDNA referred to by the authors. There are no ApaI or NdeI sites in this sequence indicating linearisation occurred within the vector.
