Type:in situ hybridisation probe
Identifier:Wnt5b probeC
Entity Detected:Wnt5b, wingless-related MMTV integration site 5B ( MGI:98959)
Notes:The Wnt5b probe used in this study by Takada et al., 1994 [PMID:8299937] is indicated as that used by Gavin et al, 1990 [PMID:2279700] . Editors note: Gavin et al., 1990 state that the Wnt5b probe they used for in situ hybridisation was the same as they used for Northern analysis, however, they do not specify which segment of the cDNA was indeed used as a probe for Northern analysis. It may have covered a partial coding region as amplifed with the degenerate primers 5'-GGGAATTCCARGARTGYAARTGYCAT-3' and 5'-AAAATCTAGARCARCACCARTGRAA-3', or it may have been derived from a "full-length" clone which covers the entire ORF and UTR sequences.
