neural tube

branchial arch
strong strong
The expression in the branchial arches is complex and dynamic, but Mek4 appears in localized subregions.
trunk somite
strong strong
regionalMek4 is restricted to the dorsal part, the ventral part, or both.
limb
strong strong
future hindbrain
strong strong
regionalExpression of Mek4 appears to be highest in different rhombomeres, though a definite assignment will require further analysis.
future forebrain
strong strong
regionalhigh Mek4 expression is seen near the forebrain-midbrain junction.

nt 564 - nt 1708 of M68513.1
Notes:The Epha3 (Mek4) probe used in this study by Cheng & Flanagan, 1994 [PMID:7522971] is described as "a 1.1 kb fragment from a Bsml site at nucleotide 564 to the transmembrane sequence at 1708." Editors Note: Cheng & Flanagan, 1994 do not refer the start and stop co-ordinates of the probe sequence (i.e. nt564 - nt1708) to any particular published sequence, however, a BsmI site is found at the same position in the mouse Mek4 cDNA sequence M68513.1, which was published in 1993. It is therefore assumed that Cheng and Flanagan are referring to M68513.1.
