Notes:The Yaf2 probe used in this study by Kaneko et al., 2003 [PMID:14557078] was "obtained from full-length mYAF2-a cDNAs subcloned into pBluescript IISK (Stratagene). After linearization, in vitro transcription was performed using T3 (sense) or T7 (antisense) RNA polymerase and digoxigenin-labeled rUTP (Boehringer Mannheim)". This probe does not distinguish between the Yaf2-a and Yaf2-b transcripts. Editors Note: AB100452.1 is the accompanying full-length sequence submitted to Genbank by Kaneko & Koseki for YAF2 mRNA for YY1 associated factor-2-a (Yaf2-a).
