Type: | in situ hybridisation probe |
Identifier: | Ywhah probeA |
Entity Detected: | Ywhah, tyrosine 3-monooxygenase/tryptophan 5-monooxygenase activation protein, eta polypeptide ( MGI:109194) |
Notes: | The Ywhah (14-3-3eta) probe used in this study by Tang et al., 1998 [PMID:9738002] was generated from "pEXlox(+)-14-3-3eta", which was "linearized with BglII and transcribed with Sp6 polymerase". pEXlox(+)-14-3-3eta is "a mouse 14-3-3eta cDNA plasmid derived from lambda EXlox-14-3-3eta (phage) after Cre-mediated excision".
Editors Note: In the results section, the authors report the cloning of a 1668bp 14-3-3eta clone from "a cDNA expression library derived from mouse embryos 10.0 days postcoitus (Novagen)" - see Fig 1 therein and AF077002.1 for the insert sequence of this clone. It is not explicitly stated, but this 1668bp clone could be pEXlox(+)-14-3-3eta as EXlox vectors are manufactured by Novagen. |
