regionalexpression was throughout the entire limb bud with the exception of a small central region abutting the body wall.
Annotation Validation: EMAGE Editor
Detection Reagent
Type:in situ hybridisation probe
Identifier:Ext1 probeA
Entity Detected:Ext1, exostoses (multiple) 1 ( MGI:894663)
Notes:The Ext1 probe used in this study by Lin et al., 1998 [PMID:9703997] is described as follows "Plasmid LP5 was constructed by inserting a 0.92 kb 5' fragment (nt 342-1260) of the mEXT1 cDNA into pBluescript II (Stratagene). DIG-11-UTP-labeled antisense RNA probe was synthesized by T7 polymerase using XbaI digested plasmid LP5 as template." Editors Note: X96639.1 is the mEXT1 cDNA sequence submitted to GenBank by Lin,X. however it is unclear if the authors are referring to this sequence as other co-ordinates given in the paper for primers etc, do not exactly correlate.
