Annotation Validation: EMAGE Editor
Detection Reagent
Type:in situ hybridisation probe
Identifier:Eya2 probeB
Entity Detected:Eya2, eyes absent 2 homolog (Drosophila) ( MGI:109341)
Notes:The Eya2 probe used in this study by Xu et al., 1997 [PMID:9006082] is described as "Eya2 cDNA insert in pBluescript II KS+". Editors note: an Eya2 cDNA is shown in Fig1B therein and designated as U61111 by the authors, however the sequence shown in Fig1B is 2173 in length and U61111.1 is 2113bp in length and the 5' end sequences differ. It is unclear which specific Eya2 cDNA sequence the authors refer to.
