Notes:The Fezf1 (Fez) probe used in this study by Hirata et al., 2006 [PMID:16540508] is described as follows: "A Fez riboprobe was generated from BamHI-digested pBLSK FezISH using T7 RNA polymerase (Promega)." Editors Note: elsewhere in the manuscript, pBLSK FezISH is described as the 5' region of the mouse Fez cDNA (itself isolated by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) from a mouse E12.5 cDNA library and subcloned into pBluescript II SK+ (pBLSK Fez)), which was inserted into the EcoRI and BamHI sites of pBluescript II SK+. However, the 5'end point of either the pBLSK FezISH or pBLSK Fez clone, is not specified.
