Type:in situ reporter
Entity Detected:Rapgef1, Rap guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) 1 ( MGI:104580)
Notes:Rapgef1 (C3G) expression was assayed in this study by Voss et al., 2006 [PMID:16858399] in embryos heterozygous for a gene trapped allele (Voss et al., 2003 [PMID:12466202] ) where the promoter-less reporter construct pGT1.betageo (Skarnes et al., 1995 [PMID:7604039] ) inserted into intron 1 and disrupted the coding region after the first 19 codons. The mutated allele codes for a fusion between the first 19 aa of Rapgef1, beta-galactosidase and neomycin phosphotransferase.
