Notes:The Gpx1 (cGPx) probe template used in this study by Baek et al., 2005 [PMID:15789223] was a pGEM-T easy plasmid containing "a mouse cGPx cDNA clone (accession number: NM_008160, S1-AS2 fragment; 266 bp)", where S1-AS2 was generated by RT-PCR using the primers 5'-tacattgtttgagaagtgcg-3' and 5'-gacagcagggtttctatgtc-3'. To generate antisense or sense probe, this plasmid was digested with SpeI or NcoI (which enzyme was used for which linearisation is not specified).
