Notes:The Gjd2 (Cx36) probe used in this study by Gulisano et al., 2000 [PMID:11117498] was "generated from a genomic fragment corresponding to intracellular loop of the mouse C�36 gene Cicirata et al., 2000 [PMID:10876089] ". Editors Note: Cicirata et al. describe a probe used to isolate genomic clones which "was a 302 bp PCR fragment encoding the intracellular loop of the mCx36 sequence (position 283-585 in the mouse sequence), subcloned in pBluescript KS+". It is not specified by Cirata et al whether the template for this probe was cDNA or genomic DNA, neither do they refer the co-ordinates given to a particular sequence (two sequences are shown in the paper and the authors also refer to AF226992 - each of which use different numbering conventions). There is insufficient information to define the sequence.
