Entity Detected:Glis3, GLIS family zinc finger 3 ( MGI:2444289)
Notes:The Glis3 probe used in this study by Kim et al. 2003 [PMID:14500813] was one of two possible probes covering either "the region from nucleotide 233 to 1147" or the region "from nucleotide 1803 to 2375", which "were generated by PCR using primers containing either an EcoRI or a HindIII site. The PCR products were then cloned into pGEM3Zf(+). For labeling, plasmid DNA was linearized either with HindIII for T7-generated sense transcripts or with EcoRI for Sp6-generated antisense transcripts". A cDNA sequence (presumed to be the sequence that the co-ordinates given refer to) is shown in Fig1A therein. Editor's note: It is not specified which of the two probes were used on this actual specimen.
