Notes:Jarid2 (Jumonji) expression was revealed in this study by Takeuchi et al., 1995 [PMID:7758946] in an embryo heterozygous for a gene trapped allele where the transcript from the mutant allele contains a fusion of the trapped gene's coding region through codon 15 to the neomycin selection gene of the trap vector. The trap vector also contained an IRES-lacZ gene, resulting in beta-galactosidase expression under the control of the endogenous promoter.
