Notes:The Cd164 probe used in this study by Bae et al., 2008 [PMID:18227060] is described as follows: "A mouse Cd164 cDNA (Lee et al., 2001 [PMID:11604505] ) was subcloned into the Bluescript vector pSK+, and digoxigenin-labeled antisense riboprobe was synthesized with T7 RNA polymerase using the Roche Applied Science DIG RNA labeling kit according to the manufacturer's instructions". Editors Note: Lee et al, 2001 state that "A full-length CD164 cDNA was subsequently isolated from C2C12 cells by RT-PCR; this cDNA encodes the major CD164 isoform that includes all six exons", yet the authors do do not report its exact sequence.
