Notes:Ednra expression in this study by Sato et al, 2008 [PMID:18199583] , was assayed in embryo heterozygous for a targeted (reporter) allele. It was constructed by firstly introducing a floxed neomycin resistance gene into exon 2 and then performing recombinase-mediated cassette exchange (RMCE) to replace the neomycin resistance gene with LacZ and an adjacent (3') PGK-puromycin resistance gene cassette (Puro) that was flanked by Flp recombinase target (FRT) sequences.
