Notes:The Sox7 probe used in this study by Kanai-Azuma et al., 2002 [PMID:11973269] is indicated as that used by Taniguchi et al., 1999 [PMID:10320775] . No in situ probes are described by Taniguchi , however a Northern probe of 832nt is described (positions 568-1399 of the Sox7 cDNA sequence shown in Fig 1 (NM_011446.1)) .
