Notes:Rttn expression was assayed in this study by Faisst et al., 2002 [PMID:11900971] in embryos heterozygous for a gene trapped allele where the integration of the gene trap vector occurred such that the splice donor at position 1101 to 1102 of the cDNA becomes fused to the splice acceptor in the vector DNA. A protein consisting of the first 281 amino acids of the Rttn gene fused to the beta-galactosidase/ neomycin gene is expressed from this allele (see Stoykova et al, 1998 [PMID9626495]).
