Notes:Pik3ca (p110alpha) expression was assayed in this study by Eickholt et al., 2007 [PMID:17846664] in embryos heterozygous for a targeted mutation where a point mutation was engineered into the locus, resulting in the DFG to AFG conversion in the conserved DFG motif at the C-terminal kinase domain. A C-terminal Myc-epitope tag was introduced immediately preceding the translational stop codon as well as a floxed IRES-lacZ-geo cassette in the 3' UTR.
