Notes:The Msx1 (Hox7.1) probe used in this study by Monaghan et al, 1991 [PMID:1682128] is described as the Hox-7.1 probe used by Hill et al, 1989 [PMID:2565278] . Hill et al describe two Msx1 probes ('probe1 and probe2, depicted in Fig6 therein). Hill describe these probes as giving "consistent" patterns. It is not defined which one is used here.
