Type:in situ hybridisation probe
Identifier:MGI:28631
Entity Detected:Sim1, single-minded homolog 1 (Drosophila) ( MGI:98306)
Notes:The Sim1 probe used in this study by Daubas et al., 2000 [PMID:10603349] is indicated as that described by Fan et al., 1996 [PMID:8812055] ie. either "an antisense transcript spanning 171nt of coding and 582nt of 5' untranslated and intron sequences" (which was used for in situ hybridisation on tissue sections) or "500bp of the 5' un-translated region and intron sequences and 1.2kb of the coding sequence" (which was used for wholemouynt in situs). Not specified which was used here. The probe was a gift from C.-M. Fan.
