Notes:Dupe et al., 1997 [PMID:9053316] cite Duboule & Dolle, 1989 [PMID:2569969] for a description of the probe used in this study. However, Duboule & Dolle do not describe the riboprobe they use, the only probe mentioned is one used to screen a cosmid library for Hoxa1 (synonym: Hox-1.6) ie. a "BglII-HpaII fragment with most of the homeobox (Baron et al., 1987 [PMID:2891503] )." Baron et al. do not mention a BglII/HpaII fragment.
