Notes:The Hoxd4 (Hox-5.1) probe used in this study by Dupe et al., 1999 [PMID:10529422] is described as "a 510 bp fragment in the homeodomain and 3' UTR (Featherstone et al., 1988 [PMID:2898782] ). Featherstone et al. describe the probe as the "3' 500 bp of probe a (Fig 1)" - the exact end points of this probe are not specified however and this sequence appears to be 5' to the homeobox. Ambiguous information.
