Notes:The Leftb (Lefty-1) probe used in this study by Constam & Robertson, 2000 [PMID:10603343] is described as a "PstI-XhoI fragment corresponding to nucleotides 986-1387 of the Lefty-1 cDNA (kind gift of H. Hamada)". This probe is 401nt in length and has also been described by Hamada's group in Meno et al, 1997 [PMID:8610011] as "the 3'-untranslated region (PstI-XhoI 0.4kb fragment)". Comparing this information to published Leftb sequences (NM_010094, D83921) makes it impossible to define the full nucleotide sequence of this probe as only 201nt are published 3' to the most 3' PstI site of Leftb (and XhoI does not cut).
