These sets of images show the dynamic cyclical expression pattern of Lfng in the presomitic mesoderm. The data from Image 6Bc was used for spatial input into this EMAGE entry as it covers all possible regions shown in the entire data set. Left hand image set (Fig 6B abcd) - Progression of wave front of cyclic expression of Lfng in the wild type embryos. Centre image set (Fig6A abcd) - To allow quantitative comparison, chromogenic reaction was limited to 30 mins. Under this condition, the dynamic expression of Lfng was clearly seen in the wild type embryo shown. Right hand image set (Fig 6C abc) - Comparison of Lfng expression between uncultured (left) and cultured (right) halves of tails with various times as shown.
