Notes:Probe used in this study by Theil et al., 1999 [PMID:10409502] is indicated as being described by Simeone et al., 1992 [PMID:1352754] ie. a "650 nucleotide AluI-EcoRI fragment" (see also Fig 1e in the latter). This covers a region 3' of the homeodomain coding region up to the end of the 3' UTR. The partial sequence link above for this probe extends from the AluI site at nt 855 to the 3' end of the coding sequence (stop codon, nt 975) of XM_140763.1. The 3'UTR sequence of Emx2 is not included in the above sequence link.
