Notes:The probe used in this study by Zhang & Bradley, 1996 [PMID:8898212] "was a 400 bp EcoRI-HindIII fragment which contains the Bmp2 propeptide. The probe fragment was excised from the 1.124 kb Bmp2 cDNA fragment (Lyons et al., 1989 [PMID:2481605] ) and subcloned into the EcoRI-HindIII sites of pSK-". No 400bp EcoRI-HindIII fragments can be found when digesting Bmp2 cDNA database sequences (eg NM_007553.1) - probe end points unknown.
