Notes:Ptprv expression was detected in this study by Dacquin et al., 2004 [PMID:15042706] in mice generated using the following targeting vector: "HPRT minigene selection cassette, an internal ribosomal entry site (Mountford et al., 1994), and a reporter containing SV40 nuclear localisation sequences fused to the LacZ gene (nLacZ). Into this were cloned 4.4 kb of homology from the 5' end of the gene and 1.9 kb of homology from the 3' end of the gene". i.e. Exons 6 - 35 were replaced with an IRES-LacZ-pgk-HPRT cassette via homologous recombination.
