Notes:
***Note: these sections are double stained for GSH2 (green) and NKX2-1 (red). Regions of overlap in expression appear yellow. Only the data for GSH2 has been annotated in this EMAGE entry.*** The sections are coronal telencephalic sections shown from anterior (A) to posterior (F). Image annotations: CGE, presumptive future caudal ganglionic eminence; Di, diencephalon; Sep, septum.

detected detected
regionalA. In anterior telencephalon, expressed in lateral domain. B. At the level of the septum, expression is non-overapping with Nkx2.1 expression. C. More posteriorly, some Gsh2-positive cells observed within the Nkx2.1 domain. D. More posteriorly, some Gsh2-positive cells observed within the Nkx2.1 domain. E. More posteriorly, some Gsh2-positive cells observed within the Nkx2.1 domain. F. At the most posterior level of telencephalon, highly expressed in the region of the presumptive caudal ganglionic eminence.

Notes:The antibody used in this study by Corbin et al., 2003 [PMID:12930780] was a "rabbit anti-Gsh2 (1:2000, gift of K. Campbell, Cincinnati, OH, USA)". This antibody was raised against the C-terminal peptide, ANEDKEISPL (Hsieh-Li et al., 1995 [PMID:7619729] )". See also Figure 1 in Hsieh-Li et al. The secondary antibody was either a FITC-conjugated donkey anti-rabbit or Cy3-conjugated donkey anti-rabbit (both from Jackson ImmunoResearch, West Grove, PA, USA).
