Notes:The Bves (popeye1/Pop1) probe used in this study by Schmitt-John et al., 2000 [PMID:10882522] is described as "a 400-bp EcoRI 5' fragment of mouse Pop1." Editors Note: EcoRI digestion of the mouse Bves cDNA RefSeq NM_024285.2 (1607nt) predicts two sites at nt134 and nt738. It is unclear from the description of Schmitt-John et al., which 400bp region was used as probe (however one of the EcoRI sites is presumed to be linker derived).
