regionalThe stripe of Atx expression was compared to the Gbx2 expression domain. Gbx2 is expressed in the most anterior region of the hindbrain, and the two-color in situ hybridization shows that Atx is expressed anterior to the Gbx2 expression domain.

Type:in situ hybridisation probe
Identifier:Enpp2 probeA
Entity Detected:Enpp2, ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 2 ( MGI:1321390)
Notes:The Enpp2 (Atx) probe used in this study by Ohuchi et al., 2007 [PMID:17366625] is indicated as that previously described by Tanaka et al., 2006 [PMID:16829511] who in turn refer to Iseki et al., 1997 [PMID:9310332] . There is however no description of an Atx probe in this last paper.
